Gramin Utthan Samiti is a national NGO & contributes towards its mission &goal for improving RCH in accordance with the policy of Govt. of INDIA. Its main objectives are to promote the health status of people with maximum emphasis to women, children & adolescent. Beside this GUS does various program like environmental health-e.g. water & sanitation by providing safe drinking water & construction of low cost toilets, income generation program, local governance, capacity building of volunteers in field level (orientation/ training to village health workers, community. At present GUS is working in district BAGHSWER reproductive & child health, water & sanitation, adolescents (to improve adolescent girls in health, nutrition and over all development ), income generation, local governance, HIV/AIDS counseling & advocacy against privatization of water. GUS as been selected as mother NGO for district BAGHSWER.
